Job Role Description

A Kitchen Cook plays a key role in the food production process by preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes as per standard recipes. This role requires knowledge of both Indian and Continental cuisines, good hygiene practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a team under the supervision of chefs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items according to standard recipes

  • Follow hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen

  • Assist in chopping, cutting, marinating, and garnishing

  • Handle kitchen equipment and tools properly

  • Maintain cleanliness of the workstation

  • Support in storing and labeling ingredients correctly

  • Work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Basic knowledge of cooking methods (boiling, grilling, sautéing, etc.)
