How green energy is the future, and why do students adopt courses regarding green energy with regular study?
Solutions to problems have always been found in this world, and today, we have gone from page letters to mobile messages. And the one who has a solution to bigger problems is more successful in the long run. We also call big problems 'Global Issues' in another way. Today we are going to talk about one such global issue whose demand is increasing very rapidly, for which many people in different countries are working and creating many opportunities.
This global issue is 'Climate & Energy Crisis.
We can understand the 'Climate & Energy Crisis' by dividing it into two parts.
1. Climate Crisis: It is caused by fossil fuels (coal, oil, gas), which produce carbon dioxide, which generates heat in the atmosphere. This later leads to global warming, extreme weather, sea level rise, and loss of biodiversity. The result of which is that we see problems like health issues, food shortages, and economic instability.
2. Energy Crisis: The world is still mostly dependent on non-renewable fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and gas. With changing times, there is a shortage of energy (electricity), and the prices of fuels are increasing, which is promoting economic and political instability. Because of this, millions of people in the world are still feeling the lack of clean and affordable energy.
If we do not find a solution to this global issue in time, then this crisis will give us more natural disasters, energy shortages, and global conflicts. But now we do not need to worry, because the solution to all these problems has been found; now we just have to work on these solutions and provide a better clean environment and energy to the world. The name of this solution is Green Energy.
You may have heard of this name, 'Green Energy.' But if you don't, let me explain this to you in short: 'Green energy refers to clean, renewable energy sources that come from natural processes and have minimal environmental impact. Unlike fossil fuels, green energy does not produce harmful emissions, and it is sustainable for the long term too.’
Before going forward, let's understand the important sources of green energy & why green energy is important.
Important Sources of Green Energy:
1. Solar Energy: Converts sunlight into electricity using solar panels.
2. Wind Energy: Uses wind turbines to generate power.
3. Hydropower: Uses flowing water (rivers, dams) to produce energy
4. Geothermal Energy: Taps into heat from beneath the earth's surface.
5. Biomass Energy: Converts organic material (wood, crop waste) into fuel.
Why is Green Energy Important?
Reduces Carbon Emissions - that helps with fighting against climate change
Renewable & Sustainable - It won't run out like fossil fuels.
Improves Energy Security - We will rely less on imported oil and gas
Creates Jobs - Industries like Solar and Wind power will expand and offer many career opportunities
Protect The Environment - It will reduce the air and water pollution
Today, green energy is growing faster than ever with governments, industries, and individuals who are investing in clean technology to create a sustainable and carbon-free future.
So, let's discuss that if you're a student, working professional, or a graduate and want to start a career in green energy, also known as renewable energy, alongside your studies or job, what future can you expect for yourself?
